Osteoporosis, which literally means “porous bone”, is a disease in which the density and quality of bone are reduced, greatly increasing the risk of fracture. Often there are no symptoms until the first fracture occurs.

HOW PHYSICAL THERAPY CAN HELP

Many studies have proven that exercise is a critical factor in improving and maintaining bone health. However, the evidence also shows that not all exercise is created equal when it comes to building stronger bones! In fact, there are many exercises and exercise machines that can put you at greater risk for spinal fractures. Working together, I will give you the tools and information you need to take charge of your bone health.
